III. Why guitar is the best intrument? My answer on that question is pretty simple. I don’t think it’s the best.. Why? I really like guitar. It was my first instrument, and I still play it. You can do so many things with just a peace of wood with snares and other things on it. The only limit is our creativity. And if there’s one thing I like, It’s to remove such limits. That’s also why guitar isn’t my favorite instrument. I like them all. But not only instruments like guitar and violins etc.. Like I said, the only limit is our creativity. Those instruments are not the only thing. There are also things like Beatboxing etc. Music is everywhere.. Everywhere!

III. The guitar is the best instrument because…well, it has something that can’t be reached by other instruments (including electronic pianos :P). Simply put, a guitar–acoustic or electric–is a near necessity towards the music that we hear today. The rhythm it offers, the sound it creates, and the accompaniment that it provides has revolutionized the music that we hear today.

III. There are many reasons for such an argument, but I believe the best reason would be the variation in guitar playing. A lot of other instruments are limited to certain genres. Guitars can play through almost every single genre of music. Heavy metal, Classical, Oldies, Jazz, Orchestral, Techno, etc.
I have always been fascinated with the guitar. I just received my first one for Christmas this year and I can not wait to learn to play it myself. I love music and I think one of the most incredible sounds is a person and their guitar. Its the most personal instrument…its just you and the music. Even a wrong note on the guitar sounds beautiful because of how poetic the guitar is. I can not wait to learn to play and just be able to play away my emotions whether they are happy, sad, loving or whatever. The guitar allows you to express your emotions and help release whatever is going on in your world.
The guitar is the best instrument because it can be played with so many different genres of music. It is also an instrument that can turn any ordinary song into something spectacular. It has been around for a long amount of time and has stood the test of time. When you play the guitar, it starts to take over you and you just find yourself lost in the music. It’s an extraordinary feeling. You can play softly or go all out, but it doesn’t matter because the music will remain the same: from the soul.
The guitar is the best instrument ever because it is completely unique- it’s impossible to replicate the sound in any way. This quality goes hand in hand with the guitar’s versatility. There is no instrument that can cover as many genres as the guitar. Even the piano falls short when it comes to real metal or rock. But as is true of any instrument, the music is only as good as the musician, but the guitar speaks more clearly than any other when played with passion and love.
the guitar can do more than any other instrument: it allows the musician to play multiple notes at a time, construct complex chords and harmonies, and create rhythm as well as percussion-like sounds. it is versatile, acting as either soloist, accompanist to solo voice, or accompanist to a group of people singing (The way in which guitars allow people to bond as they sing adds to its value as a social catalyst). it is portable, and music from all genres can be played on it. even the piano does not have all these traits (especially the portability factor)

3. When I step into a room with someone strumming an acoustic guitar, my mind is immediately filled with an unexplainable peace. There’s something about curved wood (that’s sort of shaped like a woman’s body) with strings (whose sounds range from a resonating deep to a high pitched squeal) that keeps me coming back to this instrument over any other. Because it’s portable, I take it out with me to the sidewalk, strum it and think of Bob Dylan, Indigo Girls, traveling musicians, hoboes, and huddles around campfires.
The guitar is a classical instrument that allows one to easily express their feelings. The guitar is the best instrument because it provides a direct connection to the guitarist with music and his feelings.
The guitar is the best instrument solely because it is so versatile. Not only does it cross the lines of genre limitation, but there are also many different techniques for playing; it never gets old! There’s finger-picking, pinch harmonics, sweep-picking, string-skipping, and the list goes on. The range of things to do on a guitar is so wide that it makes it really easy to stick to when learning and when mastering. Also, if you look good with a guitar, it can get you laid.

3. Guitar is one of the best instruments because of how expressive it can truly be. You can play gentle, quiet acoustic or loud, rockin’ electric. You can strum chords or pick melodies. There’s so many different styles that can be covered on guitar, which makes it seem limitless. There is nothing that I like more than the sweet sound of an acoustic guitar telling a story.
The guitar is the best instrument out there because…. there is so much you can do with it. With only a few strings and a variation of where to put your fingers, there is so much you can create unlike other instruments where you are limited. A guitar can play any type of music with just the speed and strength of the strumming. It can rock a stage while still rocking a baby to sleep. The guitar is absolutely amazing.

3. What more can you ask for? From the budding beginner to a fully fledged professional, the guitar suits everyone’s needs. Take a walk through history- the guitar and its relatives have been around for 5000 years- and the modern guitar dates from 40 AD! Guitar is one of the most expressive instruments out there- from the strumming patterns, finger picking patterns, shape of the guitar, type of strings, brand, make, color….the list goes on and on- even the type of guitar- which brings upon a complete new subset expresses and represents the beholder.

3. Guitars are the best instrument because there are so many ways to play it. Such as you can make it sound like a percussion instrument with an acoustic guitar or have the hardcore metal with and electric guitar.
The guitar is the best instrument becuase although we all can play the same song and same notes, everyone can develop their own personal style and make the song their own. With the ability to develop such variety in sound, you can easily make slight changes to a song and make it sound completely different.

3. Guitar is the best instrument for many reasons. The most obvious one being versatility, it can be used as it’s own percussion instrument (an acoustic guitar at least), it can be played in many ways (pop&slap, finger picking, and palm muting to list a few), not to mention the countless amount of effects pedals people have made for it. If there’s a sound you imagine on guitar, it’s pretty much a given that you can have it if willing to work for it. On top of this, I also find the guitar’s chord convenience remarkable. Chord that require and abnormal stretching of the hand to play are often simple to reach on guitar. The string pattern on a guitar makes chords follow the natural positioning of our hand, you don’t even have to think sometimes, if you just lay out two fingers you’ve made a chord, then you can add onto it from there, but the point is: all chords are simple to play because of the string pattern.

3. This is because it is one of the instrument in the world’s instrument that is able to played in so many different variations. You can play flamenco like Paco de Lucia, amazing guitar techniques like Tommy Emmanuel, jazz like Stevie Ray Vaughan, slap guitar like Justin King, amazing solo like Paul Gilbert. And there’s so many more, cool people to make the guitar cool. oh not forgetting my all time favorite Jimi Hendrix.
it is the best instrument because you can make different sounds with it and choose the type of music you want to play.

3. Allow me to answer that question with another question: How many people have made crowds explode with the ukelele? Who has been able to play bluegrass, country, blues, rock, metal, classical and acoustic styles on a clarinet? Has anyone ever said, “Maaan, did you hear that amazing riff Jon played on the viola de gamba!?”
I rest my case.

3. Because it’s a instrument that you can learn to play in a few hours, but it takes years to master. You can make such a wide variety of noises, and range of pitches (especially with an electric), which means you can play bass, and even piano pieces!

3. The guitar is the best instrument because most songs currently uses a guitar of some kind and the music and sound it makes is practically indescribable. It has a wonderful sound and there are so many ways to make it sound incredibable. There are many techniques, much more than piano and violin combined, I’d bet, and each makes a unique sound.
The guitar is the best because you can just pick it up and start playing.
Originally I wanted to play the guitar to get closer to my friends, since they all knew how to play, and I wanted to feel and experienced what they had. The first time I even held my guitar and just strummed it, I felt connected to musicians. I really want to learn how to play better so that I can feel part of the whole “musician family.”
Guitars are beautiful. The sound is so pure and sweet and lasting. It’s also really personal, since you have to hold it in your arms and even moreso if you use your fingers to play it, since they get calloused. Honestly, it’s an amazing experience.

The guitar is the best instrument because if it’s incredible sound and versatility. It’s a timeless instrument that has been altered and changed throughout the ages, but has maintained it’s true sound. From the early shamisens of Japan, to the classic acoustic guitars of today, the guitar is a thing of beauty, to be admired and played. I was originally a pianist, but since I got my first acoustic guitar, I feel as though I have a new voice to express myself. I’ve delved into song-writing, sung my heart out, and I still feel like there’s so much more I can say. The feel of holding my guitar in my arms like a child makes me feel like I can do something really outstanding. The guitar has spoken to me in a language that other instruments never could. My guitar has become more than my instrument of choice, it’s become my voice, my heart, and my constant companion.
The guitar was not my first instrument. I’ve always been a drummer, a percussionist all around, and I’ve got to say that the combination of different percussive elements into types of drum sets or percussion ensembles provides fascinating musical potential. But again, drums are at their best in the plural form - one drum gets a little bit monotonous. This is where the guitar comes in - six strings of different pitches, resonating with each other in a nearly infinite number of possible combinations, all from a single handheld instrument - the versatility of a guitar can’t be beaten by anything analog. Modern popular music has depended on the guitar since Elvis, and this won’t change anytime soon.

Reason:
Although I find that each musical instrument possesses a certain charm that no other can replicate, I am more enraptured by that of the guitar. It’s strings have a wide variety of tones: boldly sweet, tensely indignant, sorrowfully soft, defiantly aggressive, sullenly nostalgic, ecstatically upbeat. All its variations depend on the musician, of course, but because the guitar naturally allows for diversity in its tone, it is all the more beautiful.
With these different voices, the guitar can lend its beauty to several genres of music. For me, it’s also a personal, open instrument. You hold it, you strum its strings, you hug it, you slide on its strings–everything is with your hands (often the most coordinated part of your body). But most of all, the guitar connects people. Whenever you see or hear anyone playing a guitar, something inside your heart softens and smiles. I don’t know what I’d do without it.
guitar is the best instrument because other than the keyboards and strings, the guitar can play more than one note as well as chords… its also portable which puts it over the piano and can be played while singing and having others sing as well…

Reason: Guitar warms the soul. To me, it’s not a question of being the best. It’s a question of how it makes you feel and what you can do with those powerful strings. It’s the way you strum them and what you can do and say…it’s like when you hear a solo in some song and all of the sudden that guitar starts to cry and u can hear this pain…this passion that no one can sing. No one or other instrument can express what the guitar can. It has a soul. I just feel that I can connect with it on another level sometimes that’s explosive….
the guitar is most definetly the best instrument because it is not only easy to travel with, but can be sung with as well.. music can be solely instrumental with it, but can also be expressed with words .. the guitar has a sound that transcends classical and pop.. that relates to each and every genre of music. its the instrument for all really…;]

3. The guitar is the best instrument because unlike piano or woodwinds, it suits everybody. You can get a decent guitar for a low price, you can carry them anywhere, you can sing while you play, you can play almost any song, you can buy one that reflects you and you can learn fairly quickly. I learned the guitar from a friend who took a half hour every day for 4 days to teach me to play and then I taught myself the rest. I learned on an old guitar that cost my uncle $10 when he was 15 and since then I know that I want to play the guitar and sing for the rest of my life. Look out world!
My Name Is Wil Huffman Ive Been Playing Guitar For 3 Years now, i have a Fender Stratocaster and i think the guitar is the best instroment ever because… You can express yourself in whatever way you want in the form of chords and music the guitar is a fun and moderatly easy instorment to learn and once you get prety good you can join a band and play aloud for every one to hear you can sing while playing the guitar or just keep it an instromental thing there are many guitars to chose from so it is easy to fing a good sounding guitar that fits your personality wether ur inti rock, punk ,jazz, Emo, Grunge or whatever iz the best instroment to play…!!!!!
guitar is the best instrument because it is such an expressive one. when you listen to eric clapton’s “wonderful tonight” or steve vai’s “lotus feet”, you can feel the emotions the artists are channeling into their music. unlike percussion instruments, guitars have bendable strings. they can thus better replicate human noises like screams, moans, and croons because they can suddenly shift pitch (and not like the harp, which switches tunings immediately when the pedals are pressed). also, unlike many other string instruments, the guitar has many different ways of playing. pick, hybrid picking in the style of chet atkins and jerry reed, blues-style fingering in the style of jeff beck, classical fingering like andres segovia. there are so many different ways of playing and expressing an emotion, many more than with other instruments.
Why is guitar the best instrument? Well there’s as many asnwers as there are types if guitars. Each one can express a different part of your soul. Acoustic, Electric, Bass, each one is so expressive. A guitar can almost send out a signal from the person playing, and everyone hearing it can feel the pain, elation, anger, etc. that that person is channelling through their guitar. I’m just learning to play, but ever since I was a kid, I’ve always wanted to be able to have that power of empathy, and I think everyone wants that, somewhere in them. That’s why it’s the best. =)

3. It is impossible to not be able to sing up a song or crank up a tune just strumming on the guitar. Because Garth Brooks can rock it. Because Taylor Swift can blast it. Because I dont have to be a country girl to play it, to enjoy it. Because bleeding fingers cant stop me from playing it. Because I love the guitar.
Hey, I’m Jake Simonds-Malamud, and can be reached at jsimondsmalamud@gmail.com.
I think that the guitar is the best instrument out there because of the way it feels when I play. I also play the piano and violin, and while both very expressive instruments, I feel that I can communicate myself best through a guitar. Whether I mod the hell out of it with an effects pedal, or just use some light vibrato and string bending, minor scales or a pentatonic, the guitar always seems to get my message out best.
The guitar is the best intrument because it takes a lot of hard work to learn how to play but the satisfaction that you feel once you can is amazing. You can share this talent with everyone around you. You can easily carry it with you and play anywhere. It is an instrument that speaks to everyone and is not limited in reaching out and bringing to remembrance memories of the good times and bad times. It is just a great instrument to play to share with those around you.
Guitar is the best instrument because it can not only be played with a variety of music and has been something that has evolved over time, but it has always stayed true to its original form. No other instrument has been made in as many different ways as a guitar has and yet is still basically the same. From an acoustic classical guitar used to try and win a someone’s heart to a crazy electric guitar used at a rock concert, the guitar has become the staple of modern music. It is something that I will never get tired of, and an instrument that I feel anyone can learn how to play. Any range of human emotions can be expressed through the guitar, and honestly, it can truly be a “man’s best friend”!

3. It’s not the best instrument out there — there is no “best instrument out there.” It’s a great instrument, though. Very versatile, at least when speaking of guitars in general. You’ve got your acoustic sound, your electric sound, your simulated acoustic sound… fingerpicking, “pick picking,” slide guitar, using magnets around pickups… 12 string, 6 string, steel string, nylon string, construction/wood variations creating unique sounds, plastic backed, standard wood back…. various pickup technologies.. Tried- and- true standard tuning, lots of neat alternate tunings.. Even down to the pick, with thickness and some innovations there. Lots of freedom for expression!

3. I love guitar. It is tied with piano for my favorite instrument to play. I love the slight challenge of playing an instrument so different from all of the others I play. I play acoustic to play solo, because I can sing on top of it, or play percussion on the body of the guitar, or make a cool noise by hitting the strings. I can play electric for all the rock songs I really like, and getting all the slides and hammers/pull offs which sound very cool. The guitar can be used almost as any type of instrument, lead, solo, rhythm, duos, and more. It is an incredible instrument.

3. it sounds great!!! (different sounds)
and it looks cool
Piano just doesn’t work around the campfire, and you get less dirty looks than when you play bagpipes. Unlike other string instruments, it doesn’t sound like a dying cat, and unlike woodwinds and brass, you can sing and play at the same time. Well, unless you can play the oboe through your nose.
Guitar’s just better.

3. A reason why the Guitar is the best instrument out there:
Well first of all, when one raises this question, the person who asked it undoubtedly believes that the guitar IS in fact the best instrument. My objective therefore is not to convince you whether or not the guitar is “of the highest quality” or if it is the most enjoyable of all instruments. No, my goal today is to persuade you that my reason is the best out of those 44 before mine.
To be honest, I can’t give you one reason alone why the Guitar is the best instrument out there. We all have our own views on the matter, and I think that’s what makes this instrument so great. For some, the guitar could be their only outlet after a long, exhausting day. For others , each strum could reflect the melodies of their hearts, finding solace in the soft squeaks of passing frets. Not only does the guitar mean differently to each of us, it comes in different styles as well. These styles are expressions of our mood, thoughts, and personality. Whether it be the funky twang of jazz, the sweet bossa nova of the spanish, the fun boogie of country, the mellow excitement of rock, or the powerful emotions of metal, we all have our own preferences, allowing us to be flexible in our choice of playing.
Joan Jett once said “My guitar is not a thing. It is an extension of myself. It is who i am.” I think this quote portrays the guitar extremely well. Although to the world it may only seem like a carved piece of wood, to us, every knick, every scratch, every memory, and every drop of sweat has shaped our guitars to who WE are. It is no longer just a slab of lumber that we lug around. It is a deep connection that allows our hearts to overflow with love, passion, and delight at the pluck of each note.
“The guitar is the human soul speaking with just six strings.” Yes, in fact, it is a beautiful one. An absolutely beautiful soul.
Guitar can fully express how I truly feel. Guitar is the best because without it, there’s nothing special to music. (at least to my point of view) It’s the instrument that drives me and the sound produces through a guitar is just awesome.
Guitar, while clearly not the only instrument out there, has opened me up to the wonderful world of music and composition. I’ve heard that there are few instruments, guitar, harp and piano being the three that come to mind, that enable the listener to comprehend and absorb more than one singular note. Since starting to play guitar, I’ve been able to truly listen to a song and pick apart the different pieces, furthering my understanding of the song and its inherent depth. Guitar is also a fantastic stress-reliever for me. Whether listening or playing, guitar is simply amazing, and it is clearly the best instrument as far as I can tell. Hands down.
It gives you something to passionate about, something you can go to that’s yours and takes you away from work and pressure that comes along with school. Especially when you’re passionate about music, guitar is just a portable form of expression, a release you can take anywhere, and instead of eating chocolate and crying over a disasterous interview, compulsively excersizing from stress, or stuffing cheesepuff after cheesepuff into your mouth after you couldn’t lose that weight, you could just play guitar and somehow, you forget about those things for some time.

why guitar is the best instument:
because considering the history of music, guitar has become extremely popular in a very short amount of time. when guitar became a mainstream instrument, it made music more accessible to the people because piano was considered and instrument that only the wealthy upperclass played. Guitar was available to all classes and brought music into the lives of many. With guitar one can play both chords and melody. It’s one of the main instruments used in a music genre that is strickly american: blues. Today, most popular music requires a guitar in order for the song to be played properly and recognizably.

3. The guitar is the only instrument I’ve truly been able to keep. I’ve gone through numerous alto sax lessons, piano lessons, and violin lessons, heck I’ve even had a drum lesson. But playing the guitar is the best high I can get. The guitar is easy to connect with; you can learn three chords and then have the power and knowledge to play a song. Without the guitar, music itself would be incomplete. It is the best instrument merely because it gives off genuineness and has a character of its own.
Don Reynolds
The guitar is a superior instrument because it’s player has the possibility of having any note, interval, chord or scale under his/her fingertips anywhere on the neck through multiple octaves. It’s easy to pick up but impossible to master because it has the expressiveness and touch of a violin coupled perfectly with the utility of a piano.
1.) Joon Park
2.) cheekyazn87@yahoo.com
3.) The guitar for me is the best instrument because of many reasons. First off, it allows me to be creative by fingering in my own unique way or trying to make up chords.
Secondly, there’s so much you can do with that one instrument. You can use chords or just finger. You can also finger with one finger and tap on the wooden part to add a nice percussion twist to it. And the strings are also awesome because you can choke them, you can slide across the fret board to make a sweet sound, and you can also slap the strings to produce sound.
Thirdly, its a simple instrument. You can carry it anywhere, you can bust it out at convenience to sing some folk songs or worship songs whether it be the beach or in your own house. It’s also one of the easier instruments to learn without the hassle of the notes such as piano. It provides the delicate sounds without the complexity of some other instruments.
Fourthly, guitar is not an instrument, its an extension of yourself. Although you can say that about any instrument, but for me this is my way to channel out stress or the express my love for God.
And lastly, i love the guitar because everyone loves the guitar, so you’re never embarrassed to bust it our and sing a tune. It gives you a sense of accomplishment and makes you feel just jubilant when you play.
Guitar is the best instrument because its so versatile. Its like a piano, in that each fret takes you up about a 1/2 step, except its portable. When was the last time YOU tried to carry around piano? It has plenty of octaves too so you don’t have to worry about running out of notes like on a keyboard. Plus, being able to play those really high notes has nothing to do with your biological makeup like it does on just about any brass instrument. As long as you have arms, complete with fingers, you can play guitar.
Most anyone can pick up a guitar, and in a fairly short period of time, begin expressing themselves and enjoying music. They may not be the greatest or any good at all, but they still play, and love doing it. It brings music into so many peoples lives. People that might otherwise never get to play music and might never find any other means to express themselves. And to me, that is why the guitar is the greatest instrument.
